Community Guidelines

WeGreen is a platform for informed financial discussion and collaboration. These guidelines define what is and is not acceptable on our platform.

Effective Date: May 31, 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Overview

These Community Guidelines apply to all content and conduct on WeGreen, including posts, comments, messages, profiles, groups, and AI-assisted interactions. Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, or permanent termination.

These guidelines supplement our Terms of Service. In case of conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.

2. Harassment and Abuse

WeGreen does not tolerate harassment, bullying, or abuse of any kind. You must not:

  • Target individuals with repeated unwanted contact, threats, or intimidation
  • Engage in coordinated harassment campaigns against users
  • Publish private or personally identifying information about others without consent (doxxing)
  • Send threatening, sexually explicit, or abusive messages
  • Encourage others to harass or threaten any individual

3. Hate Speech and Discrimination

Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics is prohibited.

4. Market Manipulation and Financial Fraud

Because WeGreen involves financial discussion, we take market integrity extremely seriously. You must not:

  • Coordinate or promote pump-and-dump schemes
  • Post false or misleading information intended to artificially inflate or deflate the price of a security
  • Engage in coordinated trading campaigns designed to manipulate market prices
  • Promote financial scams, Ponzi schemes, or fraudulent investment opportunities
  • Impersonate financial professionals, analysts, or institutions
  • Claim insider knowledge or post material non-public information
  • Use the platform to front-run trades or exploit information asymmetry against other users

Important: Nothing posted on WeGreen constitutes financial advice. All users are responsible for their own investment decisions. See our Terms of Service for full financial disclaimers.

5. Misinformation and Deceptive Content

Users must not knowingly post false, fabricated, or materially misleading content, including:

  • Fake earnings reports, SEC filings, or regulatory announcements
  • Fabricated news articles or press releases
  • AI-generated content presented as human-authored analysis without disclosure
  • Deepfakes or manipulated media designed to deceive
  • Fake screenshots of trading positions, portfolio returns, or financial documents

If you share AI-generated analysis, clearly indicate that it was AI-produced.

6. Impersonation

You must not impersonate other users, public figures, companies, or organizations. Parody and fan accounts must be clearly labeled as such.

7. Spam and Manipulation

The following behaviors are prohibited:

  • Posting repetitive, unsolicited, or irrelevant content
  • Using automated tools or bots to post content without authorization
  • Artificially inflating engagement metrics (likes, views, follows)
  • Coordinated inauthentic behavior (operating multiple fake accounts)
  • Posting affiliate links, referral spam, or undisclosed paid promotions

8. Illegal Content and Activities

You must not use WeGreen to facilitate, promote, or engage in illegal activities, including but not limited to:

  • Securities fraud or insider trading
  • Money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Distribution of illegal substances
  • Trafficking of any kind
  • Violation of intellectual property rights
  • Unauthorized access to systems or data

9. Ban Evasion

Creating new accounts to circumvent suspensions, bans, or other enforcement actions is prohibited. Ban evasion may result in permanent removal of all associated accounts without appeal.

10. AI-Generated Content

WeGreen embraces AI-assisted discussion and analysis. However:

  • AI-generated content must not be used to deceive other users about its origin
  • Automated posting of AI content at scale (content farms) is prohibited
  • AI-generated financial analysis must not be presented as professional advice
  • Users remain responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of AI content they share

11. Enforcement

WeGreen enforces these guidelines through a combination of automated systems and human review. Enforcement actions are proportional and may include:

  • Content removal or restriction
  • Warning notifications
  • Temporary account suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Reporting to law enforcement (where required by law or for imminent safety threats)

Automated Moderation

WeGreen uses automated systems to detect and act on potential violations. Automated actions may include content removal, flagging for human review, or temporary restrictions. We continuously improve these systems to reduce false positives.

Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you may submit an appeal through the Appeals page. Appeals are reviewed by human moderators. WeGreen reserves final discretion on all enforcement decisions.

12. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it using the reporting tools available on the platform, or contact us directly. We review all reports and take action where appropriate.

Good-faith reports are always welcome. Abusing the reporting system to harass other users is itself a violation of these guidelines.

13. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify users as appropriate. Continued use of WeGreen after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
